The Electoral Court dismissed Jabulani Khumalo’s motion to be reinstated as MK Party leader.

Khumalo claimed that a member of the newly established party falsified his signature on a document, transferring leadership to former president Jacob Zuma.

Johannesburg – The Electoral Court has denied Jabulani Khumalo’s bid to be reinstated as the leader of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party.

Khumalo filed the motion in court, alleging that a member of the newly established party falsified his signature on a paper, shifting leadership from him to former President Jacob Zuma.

However, in a verdict issued Wednesday morning, the court deemed Khumalo’s testimony to be plagued with discrepancies.

The court stated it thought Khumalo’s signature was not falsified and that he transferred the party’s leadership with full knowledge of the ramifications.
